Well..it's not currently happening HERE in New York, and I don't think it's officially happening anywhere else.
Partly, though the way education in the US is decentralized makes it difficult to tell. For example, there's a statewide curriculum here in New York (and that's just one of the 50 states) and then within New York, there are different quasi-independent school districts with differing policies.
