The Dark Isn't Rising After All

They've changed the title of the film. Again. It's now just "The Seeker."

And they've changed...well, pretty much everything.

I finally read the book. I am not a huge fan, but dear lord, cn they possible get anything else wrong? In a way, the change of the title is a relief, as it gives Susan Cooper a lot of room to say "this carp is not my book!"

I suspect she'll be doing that a lot.

One More Holiday!

Well, really two since the days of Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah are in some ways distinct holidays. But soon we start the last two holidays of the fall Jewish holiday cycle, followed by a sabbath. Thus will I be offline till Saturday night.
