Infintie Crisis 1
Oct. 14th, 2005 11:56 amNo spoilers. Just a quick set of thoughts.
Good news: It doesn't suck. I wasn't bored.
Bad news: It's not much of a first issue.
Good news: Geoff Johns' script is great, and his portrayal of the Big Three in light of recent stories is great.
Bad news: Still not happy about how the DC heroes are acting in the first place.
Good news: Interesting surprise characters show up.
Bad news: Not-so-interesting deaths of characters I bet most readers don't care about.
Good news: Great art by Jimenez
Bad news: I can't see this becoming anything more than the next in a series of Big Events that only leave the reader confused and frustrated. Hopefully, the usually reliable Johns will prove me wrong. but if I had to guess, I'd say that this will be a dud.

Are the big events ever anything but that? What was going to make this one different?
