1. I think the name is derived from some 12th Nordic word that means "animal that cannot chuck wood." It's merely a modern mistranslation.
2. Favorite letter? Probably one that ran in John Ostrander and Tom Mandrake's The Spectre, arund issue 10 or so. In the letter, I commented about a remark made by a villain about the nature of the Spectre that linked the Spectre to various events in the Bible. I linked the events referenced by quoting a Midrash, and then accidentally foresaw a story where we learn Spec was the angel of death at the Slaying of the Firstborn in Exodus. I was literate, Jewish, and prescient.
3. Letter I most wished to see printed? Probably the one I wrote when I stopped reading X-Men way back when. It was negative, and I so rarely wrote anything negative, and they so rarely printed anytihng negative.
