Me and the NFL, Round Two

Granted, we have a housefilk tomorrow that will occupy me most of the day. And granted, the team I root (the Giants) is lousy and then some. So I am not sure I'd be watching anyway.
But the past week has only deepened my resolve to not watch the NFL for a while. Nothing anyone has done involving Ray Rice or Adrian Peterson makes me feel like it's worth my time now. The double whammy of Goddell's empty press conference and the stunning, meticulous investigative report from ESPN's Outside the Lines leave me disgusted and shaking my head. I was really hesitant to say that the cover-up was worse than the crime when the crime was so rotten. But if 1/5th of what was written about the Ravens' owner is true, then he's actually managed to make the cover-up worse than the crime.
I continue to follow the sport for now. Kind of hard not to, since I still care and since it's kind of everywhere if you are a sports fan. But that could change.
PS: Worst crisis management I have ever seen. Whoever does PR for the NFL should be fired. Or quit, if it turns out that the bosses are ignoring them.
