And so we of the Jewish faith are about to enter the new year 5774. We say goodbye to a year that had both good and bad, like all years, and look towards a year that begins on a somewhat uncertain tone, at the global and national level. And we pray that the new year is one of peace and love and comfort, as we pray every year.

To those observing, and even to those who are not, let me wish you all a sweet and festive holiday and a year of blessings.
