Green Lantern Anyone? Anyone?

So I have a ton of fannish types on my friends list. Many of whom usually go see films like Green Lantern as soon as it opens. (I tend to wait till any crowds are gone and also had plans today.) Some of whom actually read Green Lantern comics. And yet...

There hasn't been a single post about this film.

Did anyone see it? It is really that bad? Or will I like it if only from a fanboy PoV? Please advise.

We saw it this weekend, and I was quite excited for it. In the end, while I felt it was worth seeing in the theater, I also felt that it could have been a better film.

I just got back from seeing it! I thought it was fun, not great but also not that bad. Will probably write a post up tomorrow.

I liked it a lot. I remarked to a friend who saw it with me: "[It was] f---ing brilliant!"

I liked Hal's "training" into the Corps. I had a similar experience in my life and I resonated with it.

I haven't seen it yet, but if I were them, I'd focus the sequel more on Sinestro than on Hal Jordan.

I didn't hate it, but I went in with low expectations and they were not met. There were some good bits, and the effects were spectacular. I wish I'd waited for the DVD, and spent my rare night out seeing something else.
