Conventions, or Where We Won't Be

sdelmonteAs some of you know, Lunacon overlaps with Purim. While I suspect that it's possible to do everything we need to for Purim at a con, it would require a bit of jumping through hoops, especially in terms of arranging for services Sunday morning. So Batya and I will be skipping Lunacon.
And alas we will also miss OVFF, as it takes place the same weekend as the final leg of the fall Jewish holidays. And since the holiday starts Wednesday night and runs three days, it would be pretty close to impossible to attend that con and observe the holidays the way we usually do.
So this year is a bit of a bummer. We will be at Contata - we better be since we are on concom - and are considering Balticon. But otherwise, I am in the middle of a long, long stretch between cons. I miss it.
