So that's four years running we got a good game. Not a great one, but a close one with a valiant effort by the Steelers that came up just short. Congrats to the Packers and their fans.

The ads were better than I expected. My favorite was the twist on the Apple 1984 ad from Motorola's new tablet, the Coke ads with the dragon and the border guards, the spoof of the Mean Joe Greene ad with House, and the serious but effective Chrysler ad with Eminem. The biggest dud was the glimpse of Captain America that made it seem generic without telling anyone who never heard of him why they should care he's "the first Avenger."

Never saw the Black Eyed Peas till now. Not bad, and certainly less old school than other recent halftime acts. But not my cup of tea, either.

...there was another ad with Eminem in it? I'm kinda glad I listened to the radio for most of the second half.

Yeaaah the problem for me is Eminem's presence made an ad ineffective for me despite it being for a product I like.

Sooo Eminem being in an ad for Chrysler, no matter how serious, would just...have a really negative effect on me. Doooo not like that man.

I liked the car ad that evoked Lassie. ("Tommy's fallen down a well?")
