Adult vs Child

Adult: Wow. The storm missed us entirely. Good. We have to be in NJ tomorrow for my niece's bat mitzvah. And I hate my neighborhood after a snowstorm.

Inner Child: No snow? WAAHHHHHH! I wanted snow! Lots of it.

You know you aren't entirely an adult when the latter feeling is the first one you have.

After spending an hour this morning re-shoveling the driveway, front porch, and the sidewalk in front of our house, I ran through the back yard a few times and flopped onto my back to make snow angels. I figured I'm already cold and my clothes are all pretty much soaked and covered in snow, might as well enjoy myself a little before I go and throw everything in the laundry.
