So I broke down and got a Twitter account. I did this first and foremost to see what other museums are tweeting, since I am part of the social marketing committee. I also figure that I should be able to learn about discounts from corporate tweets that may be useful. And I know that some of you have switched towards Twitter.

So if you know of any feeds that are particularly useful for stuff like cheap airfare, let me know. And if you use your Twitter account in ways that are not echoed by your blog, let me know. Otherwise, I don't really plan to start adding people there for the most part - it's hard enough keeping up with LJ already. But if I am missing things I should know about your lives, that should be fixed.

And I have no plans to tweet, or retweet. I am an LJ blogger all the way.

Twitter and LJ have no overlap for me, and yeah, you're missing stuff, presuming you care. :)

It depends. If you tweet about your plans for world conquest, I better be reading it.

*eyeing phone* Their mobile interface leaves a lot to be desired... I'm getting messages that your account isn't finalized or something? And I have no idea if I actually gave you access to mine or not.

they just updated to a new one, mobile.twitter.com. (aimed at webkit based phones- iphone, s60, android, etc.)

There's very little overlap for me, but my twitter is pretty banal. "I AM HUNGRY." "I AM BORED." "I AM WAITING FOR A BUS." But go for it!
