So this is something I haven't posted about. But if you've seen me in the last couple of months, you might know this.

I've been on a diet. Weight Watchers - they started it at work in July. I hit my goal six weeks ago. Today, I qualified for a lifetime membership.

I was abut 190. I'm now 155. Despite not loving every session with the group, Weight Watchers has worked for me. Doesn't mean it will work for everyone, of course. Or that I am going to ever let myself be one of those people who tells you "hey, this is great, you should diet!" I simply decided that it was a good idea to lose some weight and lower the risks that come with carrying a large amount of my weight in my belly.

But I feel good about myself for doing this.

That's all.

Congratulations to you for sticking with it. I'm trying so hard to get back on the wagon as it were. If I could just get myself into the gym like I did pre-baby I think I could do it, but the only time I have free is in the morning which means giving up an hour of sleep.

*sigh*

Yay you! My uncle is a lifetime member and lives on a no-sugar diet to keep it that way.

I know that Weight Watchers would not work for me. I prefer straight-up counting calories and memorizing calorie counts.

My uncle, on the other hand, is an actuary, and reverse-engineered the algorithm on old Weight Watchers points plan.

I'm very much with you on "It's not how you get there, it's that you get there in the time you want to in the way that works for you".

I hope to be on a diet again soon. (That is, I hope not to be living with my parents any longer in the near future -- news when I have it.)

Congratulations! So proud of you! And may I lean on you a little if this stupid plateau doesn't break soon?
