Let's Go Mess
Jul. 27th, 2009 06:57 pmI'm a Mets fan. I am used to losing more often than winning. I am used to seeing some pretty weird, if not outright inept things. And I can cope with injuries and things just going wrong.
But when the GM, in the process of firing a loose cannon within the organization, essentially blames the firing on the reporter who broke the story, and claims the reporter was spreading stories in hopes of somehow creating an opening within the tea, I think we've hit a new low. I also think that no one in the Mets offices has ever heard of public relations.
The team I love has become a farce and a mess, and really needs to look at itself in a collective mirror.
Oy.
