And so it ends, definitely for the season and probably for good. But I think I will Peter David do the talking for me this once. I think he gets to why this show never caught on.

I will add that even if I was rarely impressed with Eliza's performances here, the acting was otherwise very strong, and I hope we see the rest of cast elsewhere. I would like to especially highlight the work of Enver Gjokaj (Victor), who seems to do the most with both his character's false faces and his Doll state. Joss and his people continue to have an eye for acting talent, even when the stories aren't so hot.

I really wish that the whole season had been like the second half. The show was strongest when it was an ensemble showcase, instead of a Dushku vehicle.

But you're absolutely right with Victor being a major find. I was really impressed with him the whole way 'round. Him and November, now that I think on it.

Le sigh.
