New Look for LJ?

So, what do you think of it? I'm curious and don't want to read 16,000 comments from total strangers.

I don't like it. I find it harder to navigate, and like the old look anyway. Glad they will let us have our choices of "skins" but I never get why Web sites need to be updated all the time. Never mind that almost every time a site is updated, I prefer the old version.

Guess I'm not one for change (which would explain why yesterday marked my thirteenth anniversary at the Museum).

I'm not sure about the new layout yet. It doesn't seem to play nicely with older browsers (which is a problem for me on my home machine). And I haven't tested to see if the new layout will work with lynx, which is important when we're on the road without MAB's laptop.

I figure I'll give it some time and see if I adapt. If not, I'll switch back to the old one.

I kind of like it. I agree with maebh7 about not liking the roll-over buttons, but I do like the absence of the sidebar, and I do like the colors.

I was rather taken aback, however, because I wasn't up to date with news (since remedied), and the change happened while I was logged in and reading. I thought at first that it was a S2 skin for a paid user, except it was on *my* pages too!
