Homer Simpson Gets It (Almost) Right

So I just saw that today is the 20th anniversary of the original Simpsons Christmas special, which was also the first full episode of that long running and beloved show. What better way to celebrate than to note that sometimes, the dumbest man on television stumbles over the truth.
Once, he presented Stephen Hawking with a theory of a donut-shaped universe. Turns out that black holes might be shaped like donuts! And if the universe, as some suggest, is in essence a black hole, then Homer may be right! At the very least, his wisdom once again showed us to the way.
Happy anniversary to a show that remains an American classic (even if I can't stand anything done in the past five years). It's hard to believe it's been 20 years. It seems like just yesterday that Maggie was 2...wait.
