Housefilk in NYC on December 14!!

Greetings and solicitations, all!

There will be a housefilk on Sunday, December 14 in Kew Gardens Hills in Queens, New York, at the home of sdelmonte and batyatoon. The festivities will run from 1 pm to approximately 6 pm. The address is 144-32 71st Road, accessible from the LIE and GCP, and by subway and bus.

Maybe? I would love to come, but that is after Accidental Heroes finishes filming and I may be:

a) temporarily dead

b) frantically Christmas shopping

c) attending the other thing that I vaguely remember is on that day and can't remember if it's evening or daytime.

Which translates to, don't save space for me, but if my life permits I may call at the last minute and ask if you have a corner left.

But I would be great if you surfaced since I haven't seen you in ages. Which means that once the holidays and the filming and being dead are over, we should at least have you come over for a shabbos meal.

I would love to. I occasionally grab lunch with Batya on a work day, but this, while a lovely addition to seeing the both of you in a more leisurely fashion, is not a sufficient substitute.

Also, since it's not really practical for me to have you two over for a meal in turn, one of these days I would like to take you out to dinner.

It is conceivable that we'll be there. Right now, weekends are up in the air from now until eternity, save the one upcoming, which is set aside for Darkover. We're Really Organized, you see :-)

You guys know I'll be in NJ and NY between November 29 and December 12, right (leaving morning of December 13), welcoming the arrival of my first niece?

Chances are probably will be available. My sister's due on December 3, and I'll be crashing on my other kid sister's couch in Brooklyn.

We are going to see if the housefilk can be moved up a week without causing too much inconvenience. Otherwise, we will just have to do something else of a musical nature.
