sdelmonte...has been revealed as his creator Berke Breathed leaves comic strips for children's books.
I wish Breathed continued success in his new endeavors, and applaud his decision to call it a day in the meadow. Though it's been many years since Bloom County ended, it remains one of my all time favorite comic strips, and Opus is still Opus and will be missed, even if the comic strip by that name never did capture the zaniness of the old days. Have a great retirement, Opus.
