- OVFF is sadly behind us. Wish we could have stayed for the Dead Dog, but there was no way I could take another day off after all the holidays.

Was so very glad to see so many of you at the con, even if it felt like I barely got to actually talk to any of you. Some cons are like that, I guess. (Will admit that I kept fleeing the con suite every time I was in earshot of a political discussion. Even when I agree, I wasn't in the mood for such things.)

- As noted, back at work. Where we are now two people short in the department, nine days from a press preview, and drowning in tasks. Wacky fun.

- UndeadJournal? Seriously? Not that I am a Halloween person, but they really could do better.

- I haven't been in a comic book reviewing mood, still. There's a lot of good stuff out there, but nothing that's really groundbreaking has been coming my way. Suffice it to say, I am reading mostly the same things I was two months ago and all of it is at least readable. And I have dropped Final Crisis.

ETA: Got the sound back on my computer, following advice posted yesterday and also an effective Google search. Still not sure what did the trick, though.

Yeah, we seemed to encounter each other in passing. I too lament the lack of time chatting.

AFAIK, "DeadJournal" has already been claimed by another service. Meh.

Glad my...um... sound advice was helpful to you.

You may have dropped Final Crisis, but some of the other Final Crisis books are worth reading, IMHO.

Between the political discussion and myself not feeling up to par most of the weekend, not the best weekend for socializing for me. But I enjoyed myself and got my Mom's copy of Thirteen signed for her birthday so I'm fairly happy =)

I know I saw you and Batyatoon in passing, but did not have a chance to do more than hello at points...

Dead dog ended at 4am. It was fun and crowded for most of the night and mostly recorded.

Hm. I'm still job hunting -- where do I go to find out about the open positions and email in my resume?

I'll try to write up what I remember from the dead dog filk.
