China Launches Third Manned Spaceflight
Sep. 25th, 2008 10:09 amAbout an hour ago, China's Shenzhou 7 spacecraft lifted off with a three man crew. The mission will include China's first spacewalk.
While I continue to have almost no respect whatsoever for the regime that runs China, at the same time as a space enthusiast I have to applaud the efforts of the Chinese people to take their next step towards the stars, with the hope that someday the US and Russia and China and the EU and the rest of mankind will make that journey together.
If anyone can find a link to video of the launch, please let me know. It was a nighttime launch, and was supposed to be broadcast live for the first time as well.
