This Week's Comics - Robin, Legion of 3 Worlds, Gargoyles Bad Guys

I'll be very brief since very busy.

Robin 177 - Very, very good and very packed comic with a great script, an intriguing plot, and strong art. I'm ever more impressed, and like where this book is heading.

Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds 1 - Entertaining with stellar art by George Perez, but sort of padded and featuring Superboy-Prime, whose bad boy act is getting stale. A good start - like the other FC tie-ins, it's better than the main book - but it needs to show me where it's going.

Gargoyles: Bad Guys 4 - Readable but the weakest issue of the series so far.

Yes.

The best thing about Final Crisis may end up being all the tie-in books.

And it does seem as if Final Crisis isn't affecting any other continuity at all, which is perplexing.

There is starting to be "debate" on the Geoff Johns message board about which of the events, FC or Secret Invasion, will leave less of an impact on its respective universe. Even people who are enjoying either or both stories seem underwhelmed.
