RIP Sir Arthur

Still at the office, and just saw the news that Sir Arthur C. Clarke has left this world. He was one of my favorite SF writers, a visionary who sometimes could be a bit clunky but was never anything less that on target with his dreams of a better world. He also gave us an idea that changed all of us forever, the communications satellite.

Rest well, Sir Arthur, and thank you for leaving the world in a better state than you found it in.
