Election Day Blues

It's a week till the big primary day, and I still don't know who I'm voting for. I don't really like any of the choices. Edwards is a bust as a candidate, Obama lacks experience and hasn't impressed me, and Hillary rubs me the wrong way even though I want her husband back in the White House. I disagree with all of them about a couple of issues, and agree with then on most issues, and at the same time feel that none of them are actually telling us what they would do once elected. All three lack the sort of substance we need in this day and age. And I don't like that all of them are senators, when history seems to show that governors are more successful in getting things done (if not necessary better).
I have never been this close to a primary before and been like this. I know a lot of people feel that we have a good batch running, or that one of the group is really great. That's fine. But I look at this pack and the only thing I can say that is positive is that all of them have to be better than Dubya. (Though by that logic, I could support McCain and even Rudy.)
I want Gore. Or even Bloomberg. But both can afford to be the sort of anti-charismatic straight shooters I like because they aren't running. (Never mind that I think Bloomberg is that most unelectable of things, a New York Jew.) So I will have to pick one of the remaining three, and then hope that whoever gets the nomination doesn't blow it.
