We'll keep it short, but there are spoilers.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season Eight 10 - Buffy and Willow seek help from a demon, compare romantic fantasies, and learn more about each other than they expected. It seems that Will isn't exactly happy with Buffy. Or herself. And that Buffy is setting a precedent for Mel Fray. Good, interesting, rather harsh stuff. Possibly the stronger issue yet of a series that is only getting stronger.

Detective Comics 840 - in the aftermath of the (rather poor) "Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul" story arc, the Demon's Head and the Detective square off, and this time Batman is playing (for Batman) rough. A strong Dini script, and interesting art by the series' latest artist, Dustin Ngyuen, help along a tale that actually goes a long way to negating the preceding arc. Which is fine by me.

Teen Titans Year One 1 - Meet the original Teen Titans, just when they were becoming a team. Robin is have problems with Batman, Kid Flash is impatient, Wonder Girl is lost, and Aqualad is scared of fish. This is written by Teen Titans cartoon scriptwriter Amy Wolfram, and it feels like it has one foot in the animated style and one foot in the DCU. Not a bad start, with the promise of something fun. But not groundbreaking, either. And what is up with that two page thing at the end with the fish?

Yeah, I really liked the Buffy issue. It actually reminded me a lot of "Once More With Feeling," "Hush," or "Revelations"--the issue where all the secrets, or at least a lot of them, come out. And people reel, and they start to actually cope instead of hiding.

Have you read the first two Angel: After The Fall comics?
