Lost and Found?
Dec. 18th, 2007 10:13 amSo, ABC is moving Lost - the eight new episodes that were completed, at any rate - again.
To Thursday nights at 9 pm.
This is happening mainly because ABC is pretty much out of Grey's Anatomy. That is, if by some miracle the writers strike ended today, ABC would probably not put Lost in that timeslot.
But it is. And my other favorite show is on at the same time. What's more, while I think Lost is a better show, Supernatural is the one that everyone talks about the next day, so if there are any remaining episodes of SN (or if the shows really do go head to head after the strike is over), I will have to wait to see Lost.
How is it that I watch three shows, and two of them are on at the same time??
And I know that TV shows move all the time now. It's not like it used to be. Still, Lost will have had four timeslots in four seasons. That's a big much.
Also, if you are waiting for Lost to return, check out "Missing Pieces." These brand-new webisodes fill in the gaps left during previous episodes, and feature the cast and writers of the show. For which they were all paid extra, as they should be. I haven't seen these yet, but am looking forward to them.

Date: Dec. 18th, 2007 03:29 pm (UTC)SO CRANKY. Especially as there will be no new episodes of SPN aired while Lost is kicking off in the new timeslot, thanks to the strike. Gah.

Date: Dec. 18th, 2007 03:44 pm (UTC)Which is why I am cranky. I want Lost OUT of SPN's timeslot. Failing that, I want it to lose in the competition.

Date: Dec. 18th, 2007 07:02 pm (UTC)I don't usually have it because the only show I really care about seeing most of the time is Casualty (I don't have a tv most of the year). However my dad does, and if he can't record he gets around it by watching both programs at once on seperate TVs. Mainly snooker, which you can watch out of the corner of your eye whilst watching something with words, but even so, still works for him.
I suspect it would be impossible to watch either programme like that though. Are you sure neither of them repeat?
It's a shame the channels don't co-ordinate; about a year ago I used to watch CSI on 5 after Casualty on BBC1, and 5 used to move CSI forwards or backwards to coincide with the end of Casualty, which can start any time from eight to eight fifty from week to week.
