This Week's Comic - Buffy
Dec. 6th, 2007 01:03 pm"No Future for You," the Faith solo story, ends.
It's Faith versus Gigi, Giles to the rescue, Buffy fuming, and Twilight's intentions (and Twilight himself, sort of) revealed. And with all need to pad things out to make a four-part story four parts, there is wall to wall good stuff here. BKV writes Faith and Giles spot-on, the art looks as good as it has in this series, and I think I am not the only one clamoring to see more of the new status quo established for the rogue slayer and ex-watcher. Too bad we won't see BKV back this way again, and too bad we probably won't see much of Faith or Giles, either.
After nine issues and three "episodes," we are just starting to get a feel for where the "season" is going. I like a lot of it, but I don't know if decompressed storytelling is the way to go when emulating a TV show.
