Here is a column from Entertainment Weekly that explains why the film and TV writers are right to strike, while presenting a slightly bigger picture that takes the WGA to task for some of its miscues. In other words, it's a balanced report that reaches the same conclusion a lot of us have.

And this will be my last word on the topic. There isn't much to add at this point, is there?

There is plenty you can add as the weeks go by. Remember that during this strike, we'll all be relying on the Internet for our entertainment. So we must all do our part to entertain each other. I'm thinking that you can pick up the slack and offer witty commentary on the strike when Mark Evanier gets tired. :-)

Or we can read all the comics Marvel is putting up on their web archive, assuming we can get it to work.
