So I'm late. I could say that it's because I'm busy. That's partially true. Fact is, nothing I bought was all that exciting. Most of it was competent, but there's just not much to say.
So in short...
Supernatural: Origins 5 and 6 were readable, but not essential even for fans of the show. I do hope that these sold well enough to warrant another minseries, though, and that maybe next time a more accomplished writer takes a turn.
Batman 670 was billed as the "prelude" to a major crossover among the Batbooks, the first since One Year Later. If by "prelude" they mean "some interesting scenes and a new artist doing cheesecake but no real story," it was a prelude. I am hoping that the actual event is better, but at least in Tony Daniel there is a good artist for an action oriented comic.
Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes 35 is still fun, but not as well-paced or assembled as last month. I think that maybe Bedard is playing out the string now.
