1. The drawback to being able to nap on the holidays? Your sleep schedule suffers, and you wake up way too early.
2. Enjoyed the season premiere of Supernatural muchly. It sets up the season well, and shows that while the stakes are higher, the show's mix of drama, horror and humor is the same. Also, it's only ocuring to me now that Bobby Singer is named for the shoe's other executive producer, Robert Singer.
3. Anyone else trying to watch Supernatural or Heroes online from the network sites? Because our efforts failed for both. The new viewers from NBC and the CW freeze up at the ads, at the very least.
4. To my delight, my library has copies of PTerry's new book, Making Money. And to my delight, it's a hoot. It's not the most perfectly plotted book ever, but the characters are great, the story is well paced and makes total sense, and the satire doesn't overwhelm the story (as if did in Thud! and Monstrous Regiment). This is PTerry's 38th Discworld novel (including the YA books and The Last Hero). And he's still going strong. Amazing.
