Beat the Mets

sdelmonteIf there was ever any doubt that the Mets are the spiritual descendants of the Brooklyn Dodgers, it's been dispelled.
Sigh. I'd say "wait till next year," but I think that the Mets' moment is over already.
So it's onto the playoffs, where I will root for Cleveland in the AL, since they haven't won since 1947, and for good baseball in the NL, since I sorta like all the teams but not enough to pick one (even the Phils, who earned their spot by not giving up).
