This show keeps getting cooler.

First off, Nichelle Nichols will be playing the grandmother of a new Hero who's been secretly helping the people of post-Katrina New Orleans. That was cool enough.

But now comes word that Kristen Bell will be appearing in a pviotal role in the second half of the season. Wow.

I wonder who's next on the merry-go-round?

And I wonder if Nichols and George Takei will given Zachary Quinto advice on being Spock.

Richard Schiff! As a mentor to Mohinder of some sort. I can only imagine Toby Ziegler in the face of expository voiceovers. I may have to watch this show again after all.

I was amused by this comment in "TV Squad" today:

"It seems that Kristen Bell of Veronica Mars fame, who stirred up her own drama when rumors said she was going to join Lost and again when she decided against it, will be the newest addition to the Heroes cast -- which has now been recognized as its own country."

It is true "Heroes" seems to be building toward a huge cast next season, though I'm assuming some of these characters are going to end up on the spin-off "Heroes: Legends" show.
