Saw Dark Knight Rises.

Wow.

Utter, total Wow. OK, there are some holes in the plot. And the Bat-growl is still hard to take sometimes.

But this has kind of leaped to the top of my list for super-hero films. Trumping The Dark Knight. Chris Nolan makes Batman's world sing and dance and weep and wail and shout and move us. There are lots of great superhero films now. And also lots of great Batman comics. This one might just be the best.

Also, Joseph Gordon-Levitt rocks. And Anne Hathaway is the best Catwoman ever.

I can't wait to see what Nolan does next. Part of me wishes it would be more Batman films, but this tale is done. The legend, of course, is not. And this films will keep it alive for a long time to come.

Tech Support Needed

So last week, my iPhone stopped talking to my laptop. I deleted iTunes and reinstalled, but still get this error message:

"iTunes requires a newer version of Apple Mobile Device Support. Please uninstall both Apple Mobile Device Support and and iTunes, and then install iTunes again."

Which is exactly what I did. No dice.

I will note that Apple Mobile Device Support doesn't actually show up as something I can delete by itself. And that you can't download it alone. And that I have the latest version of iTunes now.

Anyone have any suggestions? Nothing I am seeing on Apple's site or elsewhere is doing me much good.
