The Wireless Route

After having to reinstall my Ethernet port, I was able to get my wireless router activated, thanks in part to a helpful Verizon techie. After two years of sheer frustration with Verizon, service has improved. I am not complaining and wish to acknowledge the good after all the bad.

So our laptop can use our DSL. But the next question is how to make a network of the computers so that we can move files directly from desktop to laptop. Any suggestions?
