Baseball Meets Comic Books

Yes, the world of my favorite sport and my favorite hobby collide on the cover of Sports Illustrated this week! Mark Bagley, formerly the artist on Ultimate Spider-Man and recently signed with DC to draw the main story in the upcoming Trinity, offers this look at Bizarro baseball. I think this is the first time that Bizarro has ever been in the cover of a nationally known magazine.

Pretty cool, I would say.

Oh, and the rest of the issue was okay. I think even Chuck was in a rush to get to the big moment, and thus the first 15 pages or so was not as good as have been. But this book is in good hands.

So, since I am talking comics, is Batman and the Outsiders. It's still a bit of a mess, but a very enjoyable and fun one. Dixon is still one of the good ones.
