Monday was a holiday. And ususally, when Monday is a holiday, the comics arrive late. So I didn't even go to the comic shop. Not that I had a lunch hour, it's been so busy.

Guess what? I should have gone.

So if you are looking for reviews, they will hopefully be along later today.

In the meantime, a quick comment...

I haven't read Civil War. If I find in the library, I might. But everything I've read about the series, the finale, the upcoming comics, it makes me want to stay away from Marvel. Which is a shame, since there are some good writers at Marvel and I still lvoe some of its heroes. But it just sounds like something I won't enjoy. Sad but true.

What about 52, I hear you asking. (Yes, you, M.B. of Brookline, MA!) Well, some idiot at Diamond forgot to put the copies of it due to my shop into the box! So don't blame DC. DC got it out, as always. But Diamond did what Diamond does best. (Oddly, they didn't screw up with Civil War, which is the norm.) I should have it tomorrow.

Planning to go the big New York Comic Con this weekend? Don't have a ticket yet?

STAY HOME!

Saturday is totally SOLD OUT. There isn't a ticket to be had, at all.

Sunday is not sold out, but only a limited number of tickets will be sold at the con after noon if the place isn't too packed with people who bought tickets in advance. Expect a mob scene.

If you are going, I wish you good luck. If you see Stephen King, tell him I say hi.
