Serenity at Last
Sep. 30th, 2005 09:02 amYup, folken. Today is the opening day for Serenity. And to my surprise, the critics - the ones I've read, at least - like it. A couple even compare it favorably with the original Star Wars films. And the critic I turn to the most, Roger Ebert - who never even heard of Firefly, though he seems to know and like Buffy - gives it three stars.
Maybe this Whedon fella has a future in storytelling. :)
The opening means, of course, that soon I can discuss the film with everyone else, and if I can find the time, I will analyze a few things in it. Till then, I wish those who haven't seen it yet happy viewing.
