- It's cold out. Winter has finally settled on the city, again.

- Martin Luther King has clearly joined the rest of the great Americans. I saw a sale tied to this holiday. You don't amtter till you have been trvialized.

- Work on the move and the apartment proceeds. Painting is almost done. The other major repairs and prep is also just about done. Still feels like a lot needs to be done and yet we have little to pack. We will be keeping the same phone number, as well.

- Spent part of the day moving stuff to the new place. Spent part shopping for the shul, as part of my new job as kiddush committee chairman. Reemmber how I lost the election for the board? Well, I was given this new job, and now I long to be a board member. This time, there is much to do. I think I will get the hang of it in time, but right now it seems daunting.

- Found "The Deadly Assasin," a classic Tom Baker Dr. Who story, in the bargain bin. It's been way too long since I saw any of this show. I miss it a lot. Even though this was a fairly hokey episode in many ways - it felt so very stagey - the script was sharp, the acting believable, and the mystery successfully developed. What's more strange about tihs episode is that therea are no companions. Any devoted Whovians care to tell me what happened to the companions?

That's it for now. Keep warm, all.
