Hatikvah Played in Athens

Which is to say, Israel won its first ever gold medal at the Olympics.

I haven't really gotten into Olympics this year. But just knowing that this one anthem is being played, that catches my interest.

So congrats to windsurfer Gal Fridman and to the millions whose hearts must have swelled with pride at hearing that anthem of hope and determination played in someplace new.
