Urban Wildlife
Nov. 12th, 2002 09:39 amOn my way to morning prayers, at about 6:20 am, I saw a possum on the grounds of my apartment complex. I wasn't quite sure what it was, but a googlesearch revealed that there are indeed possums amidst the NYC urban wildlife.
How cool is that? Earlier this year I saw a raccoon and now a possum. I wouldn't necessarily want one hanging around my house - no pun intended, Mr. Possum - but it's nice to see that nature still lives nearby.
