I'm late with the latest review as I was late getting to the shop. But with a new load due today, I will skip the spoilers.

Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes 31 was better than I expected as the new writer Tony Bedard settles in. To my surprise, it reads much more like an old school Legion comic than this series has till now, but without losing the current themes. It's not the greatest thing ever, but I might stay around to see what happens next.

The Spirit 6 is not new. It's the May issue, in fact, but I missed it and had to wait for a reorder. But it was worth the wait. Darwyn Cooke brews a tale that has very little to do with our hero, but that is gripping and moving and very, very noir. Fans of the original Spirit comics know that some weeks the hero was a bit player, and I like that this is still the case. And FYI, I skipped the most recent issue of this series because Cooke skipped the issue.
