Conterpoint '07 was great, as we have come to expect from this stop on the NEFilk circuit. Kudos to all who ran it, or who participated, for making a great weekend. And special congrats to Crystal Paul and Steve Brinich on their marriage, which ended the con on a high note.
Highlights? Seanan's concert. Vixy and Tony's concert. Amy's fiddling. The Saturday night open filk. Listening to Rand and Tony talk shop - just because I can't play or write doesn't mean that I don't find the process of making music fascinating. Talking to the GoHs about evolution in the hot tub Friday. Pancakes for brunch Sunday.
And of course catching up with old friends and making new friends. To all of you I saw at the con, I'm glad we got to say hi, and look forward to seeing you next time in the filk room.
