One Quick Heroes Thought

Much to discuss about last night's Heroes, and I don't have time today for much. So I offer this...
President Sylar was an amazing twist, the sort of thing that is a hallmark of this show: a great villain become even more fearsome, an unforseen consequence of Linderman's scheming, a moment that you should have seen coming and yet don't.
But when I woke up today, it occured to me to Sylar's use of illusion was so extensive that he doesn't even bother wearing a suit that matches what "Petrelli" is wearing. And that bothers me. He maintains the total illusion of being Petrelli 24/7? In the most highly secure building in the US, surrounded by Secret Service agents? Are his showers illusions too? Does he create a fake pile of dry cleaning? What happens to the illusion when he sleeps?
And how dumb is it for Sylar to reveal himself as Sylar to the dying Clare when there is always a Scret Service agent five feet away?
These are small thing, perhaps even nitpicks. But I think these are good questions, the sort that this show isn't good with. Heroes comes so very close to being brilliant, but I can always find that little hole in the logic or the plot with ease. And I don't hesitate to do so, the way I did with Buffy or first season Lost. The creators of Heroes paint in very broad strokes. And sometimes, I wish they wouldn't, even when I am loving the show.
