We are back from Lunacon, tired but okay. And for the record, while I was very happy to catch up several frieds I rarely see, and enjoyed the filk I heard, the overall con was meh. The snow on Friday didn't help with the size of the con or with logistics, but even considering that, I just don't seem to find this con engaging anymore. Odds are I'll still keep going to see friends and to filk and to get away, and with any luck to be on panels again. (I only did one, and it was as a last minute replacement). But one of these years, we will shift our con budget around and try something else, I think.

That said, I still love going to cons. And I wish every time I tell my mother I didn't love a specifc con, she wouldn't say "well, maybe you're outgrowing them". Maybe I have to stop telling her things like that?
