This Week's Comics: Nightwing, Dr. Strange
Dec. 7th, 2006 12:53 pmAs promised, the other half...
Nightwing 127 - Our hero has been left for dead and buired six feet under. Can he get his act together long enough to escape? Wolfman plays with narrative structure and our expectations of Mr. Grayson in this very effective installment. Flashback and narration are both used quite well. i think that this book is in good hands.
Doctor Strange: The Oath 3 - We learn that the villain of the story is the doctor who operated on Dr. Strange's hands all those years ago, and that he's also a sorcerer. Otherwise, while the script and art are strong, there isn't really much happeneing here. It's a vintage BKV script without out much purpose. Still, it's 60% finished, so why not stick it out?
