Anyone else in NYC feel like our local elections are a bit of a joke? Is there one single race that wasn't decided months ago when the NY Democratic machine rubber-stamped Spitzer and Hillary, and the NY Republican machine decided not to try that hard?

As a big-D Democrat, I am glad to know that my state will be in the right hands. As a small-D democrat, I am unhappy that the people don't have much of a voice. It's been like this for a while, but I can't recall a year when there has been so little at stake locally.

Any chance I can swap votes with some apathetic person elsewhere and use mine where it can make a biggere difference?

Possibly with some of my coworkers down here in Georgia? (Please?)

That's how I felt too, and I was less than excited about Comptroller and Attorney General.

We should all move to swing states!
