We're With Captain America

So as part of a family day tied into the Masters of American Comics exhibition, we will be hosting an appearance by Captain America on Oct. 22.

I am quite glad to say that The Jewish Museum stands with Captain America, that we are taking a stand against the Super-Hero Registration Act, and that Cap will always be welcome here.

I just hope that he doesn't throw his shield whi;le he's here. All that ancient pottery is fragile.

Cap may be welcome, but what happens when you need a grant from the Stark Foundation. Tony isn't overly vindictive, but he also has a long memory.

Then again after the whole Thor debacle, he's probably got other things on his mind.

We haven't applied for a grant from the Stark Foundation in years. Some board members are uncomfortable with the fact that Stark has always made its money from weapons.

We do apply for Wayne Foundation grants, but it's hard to get one outside of Gotham.

I'm also suddenly imagining a talmudic debate between the two camps, especially since Ben Grimm (the most prominent Jew involved) has chosen a neutral position.
