This Week's Comics - 52, Flash, Runaways

Spoilers? Yup.

52, Week 20 - After a very interesting start featuring first Supernova in the Batcave and then Steel adjusting nicely, it's back into space. And back to Lobo Adventures, guest starring Adam, Buddy and Kory. Sadly, the Space Heroes arc is getting dull. There's no reason to think that it will totally take over the series, but we can only hope that the other plotlines come back soon. Or at least that we can get rid of Lobo.

Flash, The Fastest Man Alive 4 - This is getting to be a very frustrating book. A clumsy script and some cliches are undermining some interesting ideas. I don't know how much longer I'm sticking with this book, and wonder if I just can't bear to not read The Flash. Next month might be the last issue for me.

Runaways 20 - While the team tries to fight the honkin' big monster in downtown LA, Chase proceeds with his own plans. Lots of good stuff, though nothing really requiring much commentary.

I was very disappointed that they didn't follow up with Skeets in this issue of 52. Given the real-time intent of the book, one wonders what Skeets has been doing this past week...

Oh, he was watching all the new TV shows. He and Booster's TiVo went to college together.
