So, I realized that I've been kind of quiet of late. Not too many posts, and few replies to other poeople's LJs. Aside from a cold and a lot of work, there's really no reason for this other than I've had little to say. Or at least little to say that anyone will pay attention to. (Example: Barry Bonds. Why do I get the sense that among non-baseball fans, his scandal is nothing to note at all?)

To those whose lives have been in turmoil to some degree, I am reading, and send hugs to all of you. If I haven't been replying, it's only because other people get there first and say things more trenchantly than I can at the moment. (The price I pay, no doubt, for both using my words in RPGs and in my professional life.)

I've been reading, but nothing is worthy of long comment. I've been watching my three shows, but Veronica Mars has been away, and Supernatural gets covered by better writers. And very strangely, last week's episode of Lost didn't get any LJ-buzz, compared with all the psots I saw about 24 and House. Is Lost slipping again, or being taken for granted?

Anyway, I am done for now. Hopefully, I will have more to say soon. Till then, catch you later!

EDIT: Oh, one more thing. I'd like to welcome new readers who followed me from either Milliways or The Pulse. Yes, there will be comic book talk aplenty as OYL unfolds. That I can promise.

So did you pick up Firestorm and Teen Titans yesterday? Any thoughts?

The previous few issues of Firestorm have been among the best ever published. I'd strongly suggest tracking them down. (If you end up not liking them, I'll buy them off of you for cost plus shipping.)

I'm eager to see Marv Wolfman's story in Infinite Crisis Secret Files. I'm annoyed at the constant delays in the books shipping.

Even non-Baseball fans know who Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth are. The fact that someone who's been cheating and using steriods for years might be about to break that record makes them take notice.
