Days of Future Past

We saw it today.  It's generally good, well acted and well paced and entertaining.  But it kind of lands in the middle  of the pack for superhero films.  The plot doesn't really hold together entirely well, and the action is fairly routine (outside of a few scenes involving one new addition to the fold).  It's certainly not as good as First Class, struggling to invoke the 70s as well as that film did the 60s.  

I would say that if you've liked the previous X-films, you'll like this.  But don't expect anything groundbreaking.
