So remember my post about how Comet ISON seemed to have disintegrated when passing round the Sun?

Seems that reports of its death were exaggerated. Maybe. Current thinking is that there is still a small nucleus. And no way at all to predict what will happen next.

If nothing else, though, it's been a wild ride. A real education in how sometimes you can't predict nature. (One astronomer called it Schrodinger's Comet.)

And if it died but came back, can we call it a "zombie comet"? Or maybe just a "zombet"?
